James Norris is a senior child psychotherapist with almost 20 years of experience working with children and their families. He is currently the head of specialist mental health for children in a midlands NHS CAMHS, where he has worked for over a decade. Alongside this, he has taught child development research to MA students for the University of Essex, where he also completed a professional doctorate in psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
James’ specialist experiences are with early years/infant mental health, neurodiversity and dissociation and he has worked within dedicated teams for looked-after children/children in care.
